Why I’ve Been Quiet Lately…
Well that just happened…
More than 200 eclectic, incisive, and peripatetically curious folks gathered last week, bound by the pursuit of Truth in Medicine. The result was the formation of a potent new community: DOC.
My partners Jordan Shlain, MD, Kevin Ryan Stacey Foreman, and a small but mighty group of team members have been working on making DOC a reality for more than a year. It all started with a challenge from Kevin to Jordan — can we make a health and longevity event that transcended the hype, the selling, and the bullsh*t infecting most health-related gatherings? Jordan brought the question to me, and over months we whiteboarded our way to an answer. Below is a shot of one of those whiteboards, just as we came up with DOC as a name:
